Ingredients
- Servings: 12
- 3 cups apples (cooked, cubed, mashed until chunky, peeling on)
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups self rising flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1 cup walnuts (chopped) or 1 cup pecans (chopped)
Recipe
- 1 beat the two eggs with oil.
- 2 beat in sugar, vanilla, nutmeg, cinnamon, and then flour.
- 3 beat in cooled cooked pears or apples.
- 4 mix in walnuts or pecans.recipe only calls for 1 cup but more would make it better.
- 5 pour into greased 9 x 13 baking dish or pan.
- 6 bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.
- 7 the original recipe was done with pears.
