" Marmalade Tiger" - A Cheesecake

Total Time: 1 hr 25 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 55 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups crushed graham cracker crumbs
  • 3 tablespoons butter or 3 tablespoons margarine, melted
  • 4 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/3 cup unsifted flour
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 (8 ounce) jar orange marmalade
  • 3 -5 drops red food coloring (optional)
  • 3 -5 drops yellow food coloring (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f
  • 2 combine crumbs and margarine; press firmly on bottom of 9" springform pan.
  • 3 in large mixer bowl, beat cheese until fluffy. gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth. add eggs, flour, and vanilla; mix well.
  • 4 divide batter in half. add marmalade to ½ of batter, and add red and yellow food color for that tiger orange look (if you like); mix well. pour vanilla batter into prepared pan. top evenly with orange batter.
  • 5 bake 50 - 55 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched. cool. chill thoroughly; refrigerate leftovers.
