Potato & Ham Gateaux

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 sachets mashed potatoes
  • 200 g ham
  • 1 smoked mozzarella cheese
  • 50 g parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 basil, leafs
  • 3 tablespoons parsley
  • salt and pepper

Recipe

  • 1 make the powdered mashed potato as on the box then add the eggs a 2 tbsp of parmesan.
  • 2 process the ham with the scamorza and the herbs to make a paste.
  • 3 line an 18cm springform cake tin with some baking paper and pour in half the potato mixture. place the ham mixture on top and distribute evenly.
  • 4 pour the rest of the potato mix on top of that and dust the top with the remaining parmesan cheese.
  • 5 bake in a pre heared oven 180c for about 30 minutes. cool slightly before slicing and serving.
