Simple Strawberry Syrup (for Pancakes)

Total Time: 15 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces strawberry gelatin
  • 4 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries, thawed

Recipe

  • 1 combine geletin, cornstarch, and sugar in a large saucepan.
  • 2 add water and stir to combine.
  • 3 add strawberries and mash (i use my potato masher) to break into small pieces.
  • 4 heat over medium-high heat until mixture boils.
  • 5 continue to boil for 1 minute or until syrup thickens.
  • 6 cool.
  • 7 store in fridge.
  • 8 warm syrup to serve.
