Simple Strawberry Syrup (for Pancakes)

Ingredients
- 6 ounces strawberry gelatin
- 4 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 cups water
- 1 1/2 cups frozen strawberries, thawed
Recipe
- 1 combine geletin, cornstarch, and sugar in a large saucepan.
- 2 add water and stir to combine.
- 3 add strawberries and mash (i use my potato masher) to break into small pieces.
- 4 heat over medium-high heat until mixture boils.
- 5 continue to boil for 1 minute or until syrup thickens.
- 6 cool.
- 7 store in fridge.
- 8 warm syrup to serve.
