Melt In Your Mouth Blueberry Cake

Total Time: 1 hr 5 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar, plus
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs, separated
  • 1 1/2 cups flour, plus
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f.
  • 2 grease an 8-inch square pan, set aside.
  • 3 cream butter and 3/4 c.
  • 4 sugar.
  • 5 add salt and vanilla.
  • 6 add egg yolks, beat until creamy.

  • 15 pour into prepared pan.

  • 17 bake for 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
