Quick & Easy Waffles

Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3 tablespoons sugar (or less to taste)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 2 eggs (separated)
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil (or melted butter)
Recipe
- 1 combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, oil, milk, and egg yolks.
- 2 beat the egg whites until they stand in soft peaks.
- 3 fold egg whites into the batter; do not over mix.
- 4 bake in pre-heated waffle maker for 3-5 minutes (we bake for 4 minutes if we're eating them right away, 2.5-3 minutes to save and freeze them -- then pop them into the toaster for a quick breakfast or snack; the toaster gives them just the right added amount of cooking).
