Romanian Apple Cake

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 55 mins

Ingredients

  • 5 apples, peeled and cored
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 3/4 cup walnuts

Recipe

  • 1 cut apples into 1 inch wedges. set aside.
  • 2 in large bowl whisk together eggs and sugar until blended.
  • 3 mix in baking soda,oil, cinnamon and vanilla.
  • 4 stir in flour, just until moistened.
  • 5 fold in apples and walnuts.
  • 6 pour batter into 9x13 inch pan.
  • 7 bake at 350 degrees for about 55 minutes.
