Mississippi Mud Cake

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups flour (sifted)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped nuts
  • 2 cups miniature marshmallows (plus additional)
  • 3/4 cup butter (melted)
  • 1 lb powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/2 cup cocoa

Recipe

  • 1 combine sugar and oil,add flour,cocoa,eggs,and vanilla fold in nuts and marshmallows.
  • 2 pour in a buttered 9x13 pan.
  • 3 bake 325* for 20 minutes while hot sprinkle on more marsmallows to melt.
  • 4 frosting: mix all and pour over cake swirling in the marshmallows.
