Milk Sponge Cake

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1 cup cake flour, stir before measuring
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 6 tablespoons milk, heated

Recipe

  • 1 sift together the flour and baking powder; set aside.
  • 2 beat eggs until very thick and light, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  • 3 gradually beat in sugar.
