Ingredients

- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 4 teaspoons vegetable oil
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3/4 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon double-acting baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Recipe
- 1 in medium mixing bowl combine buttermilk, egg, oil, and sugar. and beat until thoroughly combined; add remaining ingredients, stirring until smooth.
- 2 heat a skillet and spray with cooking oil.
- 3 cook until bottom is brown and little bubbles appear around the edge.
- 4 flip pancakes to cook opposite side.
