Pancake Syrup Increaser

Total Time: 4 mins Preparation Time: 1 min Cook Time: 3 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon maple extract
  • 1 -2 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 in a large saucepan combine the sugar, brown sugar and water; bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer stirring for 3 minutes (watch closley this will run over the pot easily!).
  • 2 remove from heat and stir in vanilla and maple extract; cool to almost room temperature (you can chill for faster cooling) then add to your bottle of store-bought syrup.
  • 3 seal tightly and refrigerate.
  • 4 this will last as long as your bottled pancake syrup.
