Paula Deen's Root Beer Float Cake

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (18 1/4 ounce) yellow cake mix with pudding
  • 1 (5 1/8 ounce) box vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 1 1/4 cups root beer
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 3 tablespoons root beer

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°f
  • 2 grease and flour a 10-inch fluted cake pan.
  • 3 in a large bowl,combine cake mix, pudding mix, root beer, vegetable oil and eggs.
  • 4 beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
  • 5 spoon batter into prepared pan, and bake for 45 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • 6 let cool in pan for 10 minutes.
  • 7 remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
  • 8 spoon glaze over cooled cake.
