Paula Deen's Root Beer Float Cake

Ingredients
- 1 (18 1/4 ounce) yellow cake mix with pudding
- 1 (5 1/8 ounce) box vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1 1/4 cups root beer
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 3 tablespoons root beer
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350°f
- 2 grease and flour a 10-inch fluted cake pan.
- 3 in a large bowl,combine cake mix, pudding mix, root beer, vegetable oil and eggs.
- 4 beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
- 5 spoon batter into prepared pan, and bake for 45 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- 6 let cool in pan for 10 minutes.
- 7 remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
- 8 spoon glaze over cooled cake.
