Pancakes With Fresh Strawberries

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/3 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (plus more oil for cooking pancakes)
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1 egg, beaten
- strawberry
- whipped cream, sweetened for garnish
Recipe
- 1 combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. stir with a whisk to blend.
- 2 in another bowl, whisk the milk, oil, vanilla, and egg together.
- 3 stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients just until combined. do not overmix.
- 4 put a little oil on a griddle or large skillet and heat over medium-high heat.
- 5 drop the batter by tablespoons onto the griddle or in the pan to form several small pancakes.
- 6 cook until golden on each side (2 to 3 minutes).
- 7 transfer the pancakes to plates.
- 8 top the pancakes with a few strawberries and some whipped cream.
