Pancakes With Fresh Strawberries

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (plus more oil for cooking pancakes)
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • strawberry
  • whipped cream, sweetened for garnish

Recipe

  • 1 combine the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl. stir with a whisk to blend.
  • 2 in another bowl, whisk the milk, oil, vanilla, and egg together.
  • 3 stir the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients just until combined. do not overmix.
  • 4 put a little oil on a griddle or large skillet and heat over medium-high heat.
  • 5 drop the batter by tablespoons onto the griddle or in the pan to form several small pancakes.
  • 6 cook until golden on each side (2 to 3 minutes).
  • 7 transfer the pancakes to plates.
  • 8 top the pancakes with a few strawberries and some whipped cream.
