Pancakes

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 egg

Recipe

  • 1 sift together dry ingredients. add wet ingredients and mix. batter will have some lumps. if it is too thick, add milk 1 tablespoons at a time until desired consistency. preheat a nonstick skillet and spray with pam. use 1/4 to 1/3 cup batter per pancake. turn when surface loses it's shine and most bubbles have popped. cook for just about 1 minute on second side before removing. pancakes should be golden to golden brown on both sides. serve with hot maple syrup.
