Sauerkraut Cake

Ingredients
- 2/3 cup margarine
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 2/3 cup sauerkraut, well drained and finely chopped
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 6 ounces philadelphia cream cheese
- 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 cake:.
- 2 cream margarine and sugar well.
- 3 add eggs, one at a time, beating well.
- 4 sift dry ingredients.
- 5 add to the first mixture alternating with the cup of water.
- 6 add vanilla.
- 7 when well mixed, add sauerkraut.
- 8 bake at 350 degrees fahrenheit in desired pan.
