Miss Pixie's Basic Waffle Batter

Ingredients

- 2 cups self-raising flour
- 2 eggs, yokes seperated
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 90 g butter, melted
- 1/4 cup sugar
Recipe
- 1 pre-heat waffle maker.
- 2 in large bowl combine sifted flour, egg yokes, milk, water & butter.
- 3 mix until smooth.
- 4 using clean beaters, beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
- 5 gradually add sugar.
- 6 fold into batter.
- 7 brush cooking plates generously with melted butter.
- 8 place about 1/2 cup batter at a time.
- 9 close lid and cook until golden brown.
- 10 use spatulae to remove not a knife.
- 11 serve with whatever topping you desire.
