Pecan Pound Cake

Ingredients
- 1 cup margarine, softened
- 1 2/3 cups sugar
- 5 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Recipe
- 1 cream margarine and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- 2 add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- 3 sift flour three times.
- 4 add flour and flavorings to sugar mixture, beating constantly.
- 5 fold nuts into batter.
- 6 pour into greased and floured tube pan or a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
- 7 bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour, or until cake tests done.
- 8 remove from pan to cool.
