Mock Angel Food Cake

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups milk
• 1 cup flour
• 4 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/2 cups sugar
• 5 egg whites

Recipe

• 1 scald milk.
• 2 sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together three times.
• 3 beat egg whites until stiff.
• 4 add milk to flour mixture.
• 5 fold in stiff egg whites.
• 6 bake in moderate oven, 360 degrees fahrenheit, for 32 minutes or until done; invert.
