Mom Hynek's Rhubarb Dessert

Ingredients

• 4 cups rhubarb (1-1/4 lbs)
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 (3 ounce) package strawberry jell-o gelatin dessert
• 1 1/2 cups water
• 1 (18 ounce) box cake mix
• 1/2 cup butter

Recipe

• 1 place chopped rhubarb in a 13x9 pan.
• 2 mix sugar and jello together and sprinkle over rhubarb.
• 3 pour water over the rhubarb.
• 4 sprinkle cake mix over the entire mixture in the pan.
• 5 cut butter into small pieces and spread evenly over the top.
• 6 bake at 375 for 1 hour to 1-1/4 hours.
• 7 the top should be lightly browned.
