Sultana Cake

Ingredients
- 8 ounces sultanas
- 8 ounces butter
- 3 eggs
- 12 ounces flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 12 ounces sugar
Recipe
- 1 boil sultanas in a little water for 5 minutes then drain.
- 2 melt butter and add to sultanas.
- 3 beat eggs together and add to sultanas.
- 4 add dry ingredients and mix well.
- 5 place in 10" tin which has been lined with baking paper or greaseproof paper.
- 6 bake at 300'f for 70 minutes.
- 7 remove from oven and cool in tin for 10 minutes before removing to a rack to finish cooling.
