Pineapple Torte

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 9
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 2/3 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 (20 ounce) can unsweetened pineapple, crushed
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup pecans, chopped (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit.
  • 2 grease and flour a 9x13" cake pan.
  • 3 mix the flour, sugar, baking soda, crushed pineapple, eggs, vanilla, and pecans (if using) together.
  • 4 pour into prepared pan.
  • 5 bake for 30 minutes.
  • 6 cool on wire rack.
  • 7 frost with cream cheese frosting.
