Orange And Lemon Yogurt Cake

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • 250 ml yoghurt
  • 125 g butter
  • 1 cup caster sugar
  • 2 lightly beaten eggs
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon lemon zest, grated
  • 1 tablespoon grated orange zest
  • 1 1/2 cups sifted self-raising flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • fresh lemon rind, cut into strips

Recipe

  • 1 oven temperature 350°f/180°c/gas 4.
  • 2 beat butter and sugar until light and creamy.
  • 3 add eggs and beat well.
  • 4 in a separate bowl, stir yoghurt, juice, rind, sifted flour and bicarb together.
