Mock Lemon Meringue Cake

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 1 (18 1/2 ounce) package duncan hines deluxe lemon supreme cake mix
  • 2 cups prepared lemon pie filling, cooled
  • 1 (8 ounce) container whipped topping, thawed

Recipe

  • 1 bake cake accrording to package directions, in a 10-inch tube pan. let cool.
  • 2 split cake into 3 layers. stir pie filling until smooth, spread 1/3 of filling between each layer and on top of cake. frost top, sides and center with whipped topping .
  • 3 refrigerate.
  • 4 note: cake and pie filling can be made ahead of time.
