My Mothers Waffles

Ingredients
- Servings: 3
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine
Recipe
- 1 measure dry ingredients into mixing bowl.
- 2 stir very well.
- 3 make a well in center.
- 4 in separate bowl beat eggs until frothy.
- 5 stir in milk and butter.
- 6 pour into well.
- 7 beat only until smooth.
- 8 fill hot waffle iron according to it's instructions.
- 9 bake until it stops steaming.
- 10 serve immediately with butter and syrup.
