My Mothers Waffles

Total Time: 16 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 6 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup butter or 1/4 cup margarine

Recipe

  • 1 measure dry ingredients into mixing bowl.
  • 2 stir very well.
  • 3 make a well in center.
  • 4 in separate bowl beat eggs until frothy.
  • 5 stir in milk and butter.
  • 6 pour into well.
  • 7 beat only until smooth.
  • 8 fill hot waffle iron according to it's instructions.
  • 9 bake until it stops steaming.
  • 10 serve immediately with butter and syrup.
