Pourable Fudge Icing

Total Time: 11 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 6 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa, plus
  • additional cocoa, to your liking
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup half-and-half cream or 1/3 cup cream

Recipe

  • 1 i had to make a double batch of fudge icing to get the right thickness of icing for this cake. the icing recipe i used was a combination of 2 different recipes.
  • 2 in saucepan combine all ingredients. bring to a boil, and cook for 1 minute remove from heat. whisk with an electric mixer, for 2.5 - 3 minutes, or until it thickens enough. pour over cooled or warm cake. doubled this for a 9x13.
