Simple Rhubarb Cake

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup sour milk (or buttermilk)
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups rhubarb, chopped
- cinnamon-sugar mixture, to sprinkle top of cake
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease 9x13 inch pan.
- 2 cream together both sugars and shortening.
- 3 add egg and mix together.
- 4 mix in all remaining ingredients and pour into prepared pan.
- 5 sprinkle with a little cinnamon and sugar.
- 6 bake for 35 minutes or until toothpic comes out clean.
