Praline Cheesecake

Ingredients

- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons margarine, melted
- 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup dark brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons unbleached all-purpose flour
- 3 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped
- maple syrup
- pecan halves
Recipe
- 1 combine crumbs, granulated sugar and margarine; press onto bottom of 9-inch springform pan.
- 2 bake at 350°f for 10 minutes.
- 3 combine cream cheese, brown sugar and flour, mixing at medium speed on electric mixer until well blended.
- 4 add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- 5 blend in vanilla; stir in chopped pecans.
- 6 pour over crust.
- 7 bake at 450°f for 10 minutes.
- 8 reduce oven temperature to 250°f and continue baking an additional 30 minutes.
- 9 loosen cake from rim of pan; cool before removing rim of pan.
- 10 chill.
- 11 brush with maple syrup; top with pecan halves.
