Peanut Butter Crumb Cake

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 6 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 mix together brown sugar, flour, and salt.
  • 2 cut in butter and peanut butter until texture is like cornmeal.
  • 3 take out 2/3 cup of this crumb mixture. set aside.
  • 4 to the rest of the flour mixture, add buttermilk, eggs, baking soda dissolved in 1 tablespoon water, and vanilla.
  • 5 beat and pour into a greased pan.
  • 6 sprinkle with reserved crumbs.
  • 7 bake at 375°f for about 30 minutes or until done.
