Swedish Nut Cake

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
  • 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2-1 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup nuts

Recipe

  • 1 for cake, mix the first 7 ingredients together very well by hand.
  • 2 bake for 35-45 minutes at 350*.
  • 3 mix all frosting ingredients together and spread on cake after it cools.
