- 18 ounces yellow cake mix
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup margarine, softened
- 11 ounces mandarin oranges
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple
- 3 1/2 ounces vanilla instant pudding mix
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 4 ounces whipped topping
Recipe
- 1 combine cake mix, eggs, margarine, mandarin oranges and vanilla in mixer bowl. beat for 4 minutes. pour into greased and floured 9x13-inch pan. bake at 350 for 25 to 30 min or until cake tests done.
- 2 drain pineaple, reserving juice. blend reserved juice and pudding mix in bowl. mix in confectioners' sugar. stir in pineapple. fold in whipped topping. spread over cooled cake. chill in refrigerator.
