Poppy Seed Cake

Ingredients

• 1 1/4 cups corn oil
• 2 cups sugar
• 4 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 1 (12 ounce) can solo poppy seed filling
• 1 1/4 cups buttermilk
• 3 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
• 3 ounces cream cheese
• 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Recipe

• 1 mix all of the ingredients in order. add 1/2 t. cinnamon to batter.
• 2 pour into greased tube pan.
• 3 bake approx 1 hour, 15 minutes at 350.
• 4 frosting: beat 1-2 lrg bricks of cream cheese with at least 1-1/2 celsius powdered sugar til smooth and thick for frosting.
