Old Fashioned Seafoam Frosting

Ingredients

• 2 large egg whites
• 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed
• 1 dash salt
• 1/3 cup water
• 1 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

• 1 combine egg whites, sugar, salt and water in top of double boiler; place over rapidly boiling water and beat at high speed for 7 minutes or until mixture will stand in stiff peaks.
• 2 add vanilla and beat until thick enough to spread.
