Pancakes

Total Time: 10 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 5 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons double-acting baking powder
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • butter
  • maple syrup

Recipe

  • 1 whisk eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla.  add flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.  mix by hand until well blended but slightly lumpy.  pour about ¼ cup of batter onto a hot, lightly buttered griddle at set at about 325°.  flip when pancakes start to bubble with slightly dry edges.  serve with butter and maple syrup.
