Rich Lemon Pound Cake

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 3 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- confectioners' sugar
- lemon juice
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- 2 mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- 3 cream the butter and add in the eggs, sour cream, ricotta cheese, vanilla extract, almond extract, and lemon juice.
- 4 mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients.
- 5 pour into a greased 9 inch loaf pan.
- 6 bake for 40 to 50 minutes.
- 7 to make the glaze, add in a few drops of lemon juice to confectioner's sugar and pour over the cooled cake.
