Molasses Skillet Taffy

Ingredients

• 2 cups molasses
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 tablespoon vinegar
• 1 tablespoon butter

Recipe

• 1 combine all ingredients in a large iron skillet.
• 2 bring mixture to a boil.
• 3 continue cooking and stirring occasionally with a wooden spoon until mixture reaches 310 degrees f on candy thermometer.
• 4 pour into greased cake pan and refrigerate.
• 5 when hard break into pieces.
