Ingredients

- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons margarine, melted
- 2 compressed yeast cakes (with a little bit of warm water)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- flour, sifted
- oil
Recipe
- 1 in a large bowl, wisk buttermilk, eggs, and margarine. add yeast cakes.
- 2 in a small bowl, combine salt, baking soda, baking powder and sugar.
- 3 add enough flour until dough is easy to handle.
- 4 raise 2 hours. roll out 1/4" think. cut and deep fry in oil.
