Scottish Sheet Cake

Ingredients

• 2 cups flour
• 2 cups sugar
• 1/2 cup oleo
• 1/4 cup crisco
• 4 tablespoons cocoa
• 1 cup hot water
• 1/2 cup buttermilk
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 2 eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Recipe

• 1 sift flour and sugar together, set aside.
• 2 bring 1 cup water to a boil.
• 3 mix oleo, crisco, and cocoa together.
• 4 stir in flour and sugar mixture.
• 5 blend in boiling water.
• 6 add buttermilk, soda, eggs, and vanilla.
• 7 pour mix into baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
• 8 ice with scottish icing.
