- 2/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 3 tablespoons milk or 3 tablespoons cream

- 1 in a small saucepan, melt margerine.
- 2 stir in remaining ingredients.
- 3 spread on a warm cake.
- 4 broil 5 inches from heat for 1-2 minutes, or until bubbly and a light golden brown color.
- 5 watch as it burns easily.
